Last month, I had the opportunity to attend Shoptalk Europe in London. For those unfamiliar with the event, it has quickly become one of the top retail shows in the world and a personal favorite, thanks to its focus on retail and innovation.
But this year, Shoptalk allowed me to step out of my technology role and share my views and experiences on another subject, “Becoming a Great Leader.” For this session, I was joined by Sian Keane, the Chief People Officer at FARFETCH, and our interviewer Rebecca Bemhena, Vice President of Content at Shoptalk Europe.
Rebecca asked Sian and me some great questions. Everything from how our identities and past experiences have shaped our leadership approaches to specific leadership challenges we’ve faced and successfully overcome, and much more. Being a strong leader is near and dear to my heart, and it was a privilege to share some of the experiences and insights that helped me along my journey and got me to where I am today.
