In July we launched Decorify, our generative AI model that creates shoppable, photorealistic images to enable consumers to envision their own homes in new styles by simply uploading a picture of their space. The feedback received has been great with users uploading more than 10,000 images and conducting just over 70,000 designs.
As a pilot technology, we are constantly improving and adding to Decorify to enhance how our customers create their perfect homes. Today we are happy to announce the addition of new rooms and new styles to help inspire shoppers looking for that timely seasonal or holiday touch to their homes.
Our new home decorating styles allow users to get inspiration from holidays such as Halloween and the Winter Holidays, as well as fall and winter seasonal selections to envision their spaces in entirely new themes.
In addition to Living Rooms, Decorify users can now upload pictures of their bedrooms when looking for the perfect addition or reimagination to their spaces. With the addition of these rooms and additional changes we’ve made, over 150K products in Wayfair’s catalog are now represented in Decorify.
We’ve also launched an experimental “Change Layout” feature for larger-scale design changes, like furnishing an empty room. By uploading a photo of their room and using this feature, customers can see different furniture pieces laid out in new arrangements in their space.
