Why open source?
Sharing our projects leads to helping others trying to solve the same problems, which we in turn take advantage of when using OSS within Wayfair. Essentially, we believe that we can accelerate innovation by engaging with a larger pool of contributors and we can help foster a sense of community in the technology ecosystem.
Tremor
One project that Wayfair Open Source contributed to is Tremor, an early-stage event processing system for unstructured data with rich support for structural pattern-matching, filtering and transformation, now owned by the Cloud Native Computing Foundation. This year Wayfair had the opportuntiy to participate in TremorCon, a mini-conference designed to highlight projects, interesting talks, and use cases from the Tremor Community. Below you will see a full recap of each presentation from TremorCon 2021.
