We are excited to announce the launch of the Wayfair Neighborhood Fund.

Through the Wayfair Neighborhood Fund (a donor-advised fund sponsored by a national donor-advised fund program) we are committed to helping people who are on their journey home.

Wayfair is proud to be making an initial donation of $1M* to the Wayfair Neighborhood Fund in 2023 which intends to recommend grants to organizations that are supporting people on their journey to home - whether that is aiding those who have lost their way from home, those who have lost their home, or those who have been forced from their home. We are excited about the launch of this Fund to continually drive Wayfair’s impact in the housing space and look forward to sharing more about our grantees and progress of the Fund in the future.

*The $1M donation is being made across all Wayfair brands, including AllModern, Birch Lane, Joss & Main, and Perigold.

Building Better Places to Call Home

Wayfair’s Social Impact work is grounded in supporting housing and a sense of home for all. For years, we have built partnerships with various nonprofits around the world in line with our vision to help create more affordable, sustainable and accessible housing for all.

How We Work

We work to bring our mission to life by engaging in aspects from across our business.

From in-kind product donations, to social impact programs for employees, to opportunities for our customers to engage and support our housing initiatives – we know this work requires a multi-pronged approach where we can leverage what we do best as a business.

    In-Kind Contributions

At Wayfair, we offer an endless selection of items for your home. This allows us to help non-profit organizations get what they need to begin, sustain and recover their programs in pursuit of success. We do this by repurposing and donating items that fill operational gaps for our partners.

    Social Impact Employee Programs

Wayfair is committed to giving our employees the tools to give back. We currently provide annual employee matching benefits, time off for volunteering and voting and support from the Wayfair Emergency Relief Fund in times of need.

    Consumer Engagement

We know that, like us, our customers care about helping their communities – and we can drive change together. We offer our customers ways to give back through our donate-at-checkout program and “Save Big, Give Back,” our annual sale with a charitable component.

    Who We Work With

Change can only happen when we partner with the right organizations – so we look for partners who align with our mission, and also believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. By selecting top nonprofits in this space, we’re able to leverage their on-the-ground work and help be a part of their solutions.
