Through our Corporate Responsibility program, we’re addressing how our company impacts both the planet and society. Our three pillars – Our Communities, Our People, and Our Planet – bring our purpose to life and provide a framework for meaningful, long-lasting impact.
Our Communities
Supporting Housing & a Sense of Home for AllWe believe that everyone deserves to have the feeling of home and drive our social impact strategy with that top of mind. We leverage partnerships with on-the-ground organizations, as well as the giving spirit of Wayfairians to support the communities where we live and work.
Our People
Building a Sense of BelongingOur vision is a Wayfair culture where every employee, present and future, is seen, valued, and invited to contribute to that feeling of home. We focus on making Wayfair a more diverse and equitable place and enabling employee growth and input across the business.
Our Planet
Protecting Our Shared HomeWe are doing our part to protect the planet as a home for future generations and are addressing emissions and waste throughout our supply chain. We are also empowering customers to make sustainable purchasing decisions through our Shop Sustainably program.

Our Communities
We believe everyone deserves a place to call home, which is why we focus on our social impact efforts on supporting people experiencing homelessness, partnering with nonprofits working to support individuals and solve homelessness, and providing our employees with impactful ways to get involved.

We seek to create a culture of belonging for our employees through our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. We foster an inclusive and engaged global community through education and awareness programming, by building systems and policies that support and enhance a culture of inclusion and recognition, and by bolstering community organizations and partnerships that help create a more equitable society.
Our Planet
We are committed to protecting the environment. That's why we continue to focus on reducing our operational emissions and offering third-party certified products to our customers. This year, we are also proud to announce a new goal of achieving zero waste across our global operations by 2030.

Of power, representing 66.5% of Wayfair's electricity consumption in North America, is covered by contracted energy offtake from our VPPA.

We are thrilled to announce our second public sustainability goal: achieving zero waste (90%+ waste diversion from landfill and incineration) across Wayfair operations globally by 2030. This new goal further demonstrates our commitment to work towards a more circular economy.

Bravo Fan Fest is an immersive experience that brings Bravo fans together for a unique look into the shows they love, allows them to connect with some of their favorite Bravolebrities and participate in engaging panels. As an official sponsor of the event, Wayfair had a unique opportunity to immerse fans into the Bravoverse, all while showcasing Wayfair’s furniture and décor.

At Wayfair we believe everyone has a right to feel at home, including those experiencing homelessness. With the opening of our first-ever Wayfair store in Wilmette, Illinois, Wayfair is proud to partner with Connections for the Homeless (Connections), a local Chicago area nonprofit aimed at ending homelessness.

For Marine Lance Corporal Alberto Flores Jr., a comfortable, accessible home is essential for regaining his freedom and independence. In 2005, while on his second combat deployment in Ramadi, Iraq, LCPL Flores sustained severe injuries to his right leg, ultimately requiring an amputation below the knee. This life-changing injury not only affected his physical abilities but also transformed his family’s daily life and routines, creating a need for a home that fosters both comfort and independence.

Wayfair values creating a sense of home for all, even for those who are experiencing homelessness. Since 2021, Wayfair has partnered with Community Solutions to support the Built for Zero movement, a national effort to measurably reduce and end homelessness. Community Solutions was one of the first recipients of Wayfair’s Neighborhood Fund, which launched in 2023.
