bluesign® PRODUCT

Consumer products carrying the bluesign® PRODUCT Label meet the strict safety and environmental requirements of the bluesign® CRITERIA. They are made of bluesign® APPROVED components and originate from a bluesign® SYSTEM PARTNER Brand. This ensures complete traceability for customers, partners and consumers.

Carbonfree® Certified

Carbonfree® Product Certification is a meaningful, transparent way to provide environmentally-friendly, carbon neutral products to customers and uses life cycle assessments (LCAs) to determine the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions over a product’s entire life cycle.

Carbon Neutral Certified

Carbon Neutral Certified by SCS Global Services means the product’s carbon emissions have been measured and reduced, with any remaining emissions offset with verified carbon offset projects.

Carbon Trust

The Carbon Trust’s product carbon footprint label is a way for companies to show they have worked with us to accurately measure, manage and reduce the impact of their products. It provides consumers with verified information about the carbon impacts of their purchasing decisions. The Carbon Trust is an independent organization and an established expert on carbon footprinting.

ClimatePartner

Certified by ClimatePartner verifies a product’s carbon footprint was calculated and the remaining unabated emissions were offset through our verified carbon offset projects. The ClimatePartner label with QR code allows consumers to transparently trace climate action strategies and offsets.

CertiPUR

CertiPUR is a voluntary testing, analysis and certification program for the environment, health and safety properties of polyurethane foam used in bedding and upholstered furniture applications. It specifies substances that may not be used in the production of polyurethane foams and sets stringent maximum limits for some components.

CertiPUR-US®

CertiPUR-US® certification means the foam in the bedding or upholstered furniture has been tested to meet CertiPUR-US rigorous standards for emissions, content, performance, and durability. These foams are made without ozone depleters; PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (“Tris”) flame retardants; mercury, lead, and heavy metals; formaldehyde; and phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission as well as having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million).

Cradle to Cradle Certified®

As the world’s most advanced standard for safe, circular and responsible materials and products, the Cradle to Cradle Certified Product Standard is the key to transforming the traditional linear economic model of production and consumption into a circular economy driven by products that have a positive impact on people and planet. Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Certified Material Health Certificate™

The C2C Certified Material Health Certificate™ uses the assessment methodology of the material health category of the Cradle to Cradle Certified Product Standard to provide manufacturers with a trusted way of assessing and verifying their work towards safer product chemistries. The certificate is issued separately from the main certification and can be used as a building block in optimizing material health for products on the pathway to Cradle to Cradle Certified® certification. The certificate is issued by the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute.

DOWNPASS

Products labeled with the DOWNPASS label guarantee high quality and the certainty that down and feathers used as filling material are ethically sourced and come from tightly controlled and traceable supply chains. In addition to the rigorous animal welfare criteria, product quality is also monitored by testing laboratories.

eco-INSTITUT Label

The eco-INSTITUT Label identifies construction and furnishing products, furniture, cleaning products, mattresses and bedding that are particularly low in pollutants and emissions and are therefore harmless to health and are also environmentally friendly. Certified products are regularly and extensively tested for emissions, harmful substances and odors. Users and processors of the products, and the environment are fully protected, including by prohibiting chemicals that are particularly harmful to health and the environment.

ENERGY STAR

ENERGY STAR is the U.S. government-backed program that helps us all save money and protect our environment with energy-efficient products and practices. EPA WaterSense

Green Button

The Green Button is a government-run certification label for sustainably manufactured textiles. It provides guidance for consumers when shopping. The Green Button sets out mandatory requirements to protect people and the environment in the textile production process. A total of 46 stringent social and environmental criteria must be met – ranging from wastewater to forced labor. What is special about the Green Button is that the company as a whole is also audited, not just the product.

Green Label Plus

The Green Label Plus program symbolizes the carpet industry’s commitment to creating a better indoor environment and ensures customers are able to easily identify the lowest emitting carpet, adhesive, and cushion products on the market.

Green Seal Certified

Green Seal is a global non-profit organization that develops science-based environmental leadership standards and certifies products that are safer for people and the planet. Green Squared®

Green Squared® is the world’s only multi-attribute sustainability standard and certification program for ceramic tile and the associated products needed to install it. GreenCircle Certified as a Closed Loop Product

GreenCircle Certified as Life Cycle Assessment Optimized

GreenCircle will verify and certify claims that life cycle impacts of products were reduced as a result of implemented changes to the product based on previous Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) data.

GreenCircle Certified for Biobased Content

Biobased Content can be defined as a commercial or industrial product (other than food or feed) that is composed of biological products, including renewable domestic agricultural materials and forestry materials.

GreenCircle Certified for Energy Savings

Products that provide Energy Savings compared to similar products are highly sought after as utility rates increase and consumers continue to focus on energy reduction.

GreenCircle Certified for Recyclable Material

LEVEL® BY BIFMA

Developed by BIFMA, LEVEL is a voluntary certification program in which third-party auditors measure a product and its producer against the ANSI/BIFMA e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard. The LEVEL program was created to provide the most comprehensive, unbiased and transparent means of evaluating and communicating the environmental and social impacts of commercial furniture products. The LEVEL mark demonstrates that the product, the manufacturing facility, and the company responsible for the product brand, have all met the requirements for certification.

MADE SAFE®

The MADE SAFE® seal provides instant identification of products made with safer ingredients. MADE SAFE makes it easy for shoppers to select products made without known toxic chemicals by prohibiting substances that are known, or suspected, to harm human health or the environment. The MAS Certified Green® Program provides globally recognized, independent, and accredited certification to furniture and building products that meet stringent emissions standards for indoor air quality. The international association natureplus e.V. developed the Natureplus eco-label in order to offer consumers and construction professionals in Europe clear selection guidance for products in the building sector. OEKO-TEX® LEATHER STANDARD

OEKO-TEX® LEATHER STANDARD is an internationally standardized testing and certification system for leather and leather goods at all production levels, including accessory materials. The LEATHER STANDARD label indicates that the labeled product has successfully passed chemical testing to ensure product safety. The certification supports companies along the supply chain with the implementation of high standards for product safety.

OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN

OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN is a traceable product label for all kinds of textiles and leather products that have been manufactured in environmentally friendly facilities under safe and socially responsible working conditions. OEKO-TEX® ORGANIC COTTON

Responsible Wool Standard

Products certified to the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) contain wool from farms independently certified to animal welfare and land management requirements. This standard is created by the Textile Exchange, whose mission is to inspire and equip people to accelerate the adoption of preferred materials through clear and actionable guidance.

Sustainable Forestry Initiative

Through SFI standards, more forests are sustainably managed, which means more effort is put into conserving healthy wildlife, providing clean water, and making more sustainable wood, paper, and packaging products available for consumers and companies. TÜV Green Product Mark

The Green Product Mark indicates the overall environmental preferability of a product.
